Every ESTEREL piece begins in Italy. The fabric comes from mills that have been refining technical textiles for generations — matte, sculpting, with a weight that feels considered rather than accidental. It moves with the body. It holds its shape in salt water and chlorine, in August heat and cold Atlantic waves. It doesn't fade, stretch out, or go sheer. It is built to last because it is made to be worn, not admired on a hanger.
Our fabrics are sustainably produced. That matters to us not as a marketing position but as a constraint we work within: beautiful materials that don't come at the planet's expense.
Constructed with Intention
Our swimwear is made in a dedicated studio in Bali. Not a factory that makes everything. A studio that makes only swimwear — and has done so long enough that the team knows every detail that makes the difference between a piece that holds and one that doesn't.
Every stitch is finished. Every seam is considered. The double lining is cut to the same pattern as the outer layer so it doesn't bunch or pull. There is no hardware anywhere in the collection, because hardware corrodes, catches light, and presses into your back when you lie down on hot stone. There are no tags either — nothing scratches, nothing irritates, nothing reminds you it's there. Ties and shirring do the work instead.
Built to Last
The pieces are finished by hand. Double-lined without exception, in every colourway, including the pale ones. Opacity-tested in water before anything leaves the studio.
This is not swimwear you replace each season. It is swimwear you wear until it has a history — a particular cove, a summer you remember, the tan line from a trip that went longer than planned.
